What Secogate does for you

Everything in one place.
Nothing falls through the cracks.

Access Requests & Approvals

Replace email chains with structured digital workflows. Every request is routed, approved, and recorded — no verbal approvals.

Staff, Visitor & Contractor Check-In

Timestamped check-ins for everyone. HR and admins view each person's attendance history individually. Visitors get a digital pass.

Onboarding & Offboarding

HR triggers onboarding — IT Service Desk ensures email and core access are ready before day one. Offboarding raises revocation requests to every sysadmin and stays open until all confirm.

Multi-Site Management

One dashboard across all offices, departments, and locations. Local managers see their area. Head office sees everything.

Full Access History

Every request, approval, check-in, and check-out recorded. Who asked, who approved, who acted — always traceable.

Manager Approval & Reviews

Managers review, validate, or remove team access rights directly from the platform. Every decision is time-stamped.

Typical Workflow

How access governance works in your organisation

From a new starter's first day to a contractor's departure — every access event follows a structured, auditable process.

1

New starter onboarding — HR initiates, IT Service Desk delivers

HR onboards the new person in Secogate, triggering an onboarding request to the IT Service Desk. IT ensures email and all necessary basic access are provisioned and confirmed before the new starter's first day.

2

Request routed through the approval chain

The request moves through the configured approval chain — direct manager, department head, IT, or security — depending on the access type. Each approver acts from the platform with a time-stamped decision.

3

Access granted and recorded

Once approved, the relevant sysadmin provisions the access and confirms completion in Secogate — closing the request with a full sign-off chain showing who approved what and when.

4

Staff, visitors & contractors check in on-site

Staff check in and out on arrival and departure — building a timestamped attendance record in their profile. Visitors and contractors receive a digital pass. HR and admins can view each person's attendance history separately.

5

Access reviews keep permissions current

Managers periodically review team access rights from their dashboard — confirming, adjusting, or flagging permissions that are no longer appropriate. Every review decision is recorded with a timestamp.

6

Offboarding — nothing closed until everything is confirmed

When someone leaves, HR submits the termination in Secogate. A termination request is sent to the IT Service Desk and a separate access revocation request is raised for each relevant sysadmin. Every sysadmin must confirm the access has been removed before the IT Service Desk can close the case — ensuring nothing is missed and leaving a complete record of what was revoked, by whom, and when.
